Details forthcoming for the 2021 Stewardship Campaign.
What is St. Thomas' budget?
St. Thomas has a 2018 operating budget of approximately $579,000, more than 65% of which comes exclusively from your pledge dollars. For a balanced budget, St. Thomas needs 75% percent of our budget from your pledge dollars.
How are my pledge dollars used?
Your pledges fund our programs, outreach, operations, communications, worship and music, building and grounds maintenance, utility expenses and personnel expenses for our clergy and staff.
How can I give?
During the Annual Giving campaign, Giving cards are mailed to each St. Thomas household. You can complete a Giving card and return it to the church on Commitment Sunday which is All Saints Sunday (November 3) or by mail, give online by click here, by using the app which is available at Google Play or Apple's App Store, or contact our Financial Administrator, Kammy Jaques to give. Giving cards are accepted throughout the year, and all giving is kept confidential.
How much should I give?
First and foremost, giving is a spiritual endeavor. You are returning a portion of the gifts God has given you for the work of his kingdom. We encourage you to spend time in prayer asking for guidance. Our average pledge for 2019 was $4,500.
Does my giving make a difference?
Yes, each and every dollar your decide to give helps us reach our goal. No amount is to little or big. Our goal is 100% participation!
When do I give?
In order for the Vestry to prepare the 2020 budget, we appreciate receiving your Giving Card as soon as possible, by Commitment Sunday, November 3, 2019, or soon thereafter.
