Way of the Cross
Friday, March 27, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
The Stations of the Cross was a pilgrimage in the Middle Ages. Christians from all over the world traveled to Jerusalem to observe Holy Week in fasting and prayer, walking with Jesus to his Cross and to his tomb.
So popular and moving was the Way of the Cross that churches all through Europe represented them in chapels, on hillsides, or in grottos, each station in the journey represented in art so that pilgrims could imaginatively walk with Jesus on his final road.

Palm Sunday
March 29, 2026
8:00 a.m.
Holy Eucharist Rite I with music in the chapel. We will gather in the narthex for a short Palm Procession. Susan Lapeyre, Music Director, will provide music for the service.
10:30 a.m.
Holy Eucharist Rite II with the St. Thomas Music Ministry. We will begin worship outdoors with a Palm Procession. There is a children's chapel after the Gospel is read.

Maundy Thursday
April 2, 2026
6:00 p.m.
This service will follow the Book of Common Prayer liturgy. The St. Thomas Music Ministry will be a part of this service. The service will include an invitation for foot-washing. We will offer a special children's chapel. The service will conclude with the altar being striped to prepare for Good Friday.

Good Friday
April 3, 2026
Noon
This service will follow the liturgy from the Book of Common Prayer. It will include the St. Thomas Music Ministry.
