St. Thomas, St. Andrews' & St. Francis served as host parishes for the 163rd Council of the Diocese of Texas at the Brazos County Expo Center. Volunteers from all parishes and St. Michael's Episcopal School turned out in force to help approximately 1000 Episcopalians with parking, registration, exhibits, the business meeting & more. Over 150 parishioners joined in a joint worship service, followed by a brunch and the Annual Parish Meeting. This was the first Parish Meeting for our new staff members, Jordan Smith & Rachel Graves. Another highlight was the announcement of a gift for restoration of the Historic Chapel, and David Woodcock's report on the process. [ photos… ]
Over 50 parishioners of all ages climbed in a bus and traveled to Houston for the "Tutankhamun: The Golden King and the Great Pharaohs" exhibit at the Museum of Fine Arts. We shared the experience of the magnificent exhibit, then box lunches in the cafeteria. [ photos… ]

Once again, our children celebrated the birth of Jesus with a pageant at the Christmas Eve Family Worship Service.

St. Thomas has joined with other area churches and the Brazos Valley Food Bank to offer food to an underserved section of Brazos County.
