Outreach Ministries

St. Thomas actively participates in local, regional & international outreach ministries. Among those are:

Brazos Valley Church Pantry. St. Thomas is a parish member of the Church Pantry & contributes regularly. (Anne Prescott, Pat Koppa)

Habitat for Humanity of the Brazos Valley. St. Thomas participates in annual ecumenical builds. (Kay Parker)

Seafarer's Christmas Gift Boxes. Women of St. Thomas package gifts from parishioners for seafarers passing through the Port of Houston. (Polly Niles)

Blood Bank. Blood drives are a new ministry for St. Thomas. (Kay Parker)

Angel Tree. St. Thomas parishioners donate Christmas gifts for local children through Brazos Valley Child Protective Services.

Stuff the Bus. St. Thomas parishioners donate school supplies to support this drive organized by the Junior League.

AIDS Orphans & Community Support in Southern Malawi is ministry that began at St. Thomas to support children orphaned by the AIDS epidemic. St. Thomas, St. David's (Austin) & St. Andrew's (Pearland) were successful to include this ministry in the Diocese of Texas' Mission Asking Catalog. (Bonnie Weber)
