Helping Hands is a ministry assisting St. Thomas families through sickness, injury, family/personal crisis, bereavement, and joyful births. Many St. Thomas families have had their burdens lessened through the work of Helping Hands. (Jenny Adams)
Newcomers’ Welcome welcomes guests to St. Thomas, letting them know we're glad they visited, answering any questions about our parish or community. It's a great way to meet and greet those we don't know. (Gretchen Sams)
Breakfast is served almost every Sunday at 9:00AM, offering a great opportunity for fellowship between the worship services. A group of dedicated people cook & serve breakfast, then clean up the Parish Hall. (Tammy Tiner, Mike Kelly)
Gathering Tree is held on wonderful warm breezy Sundays, following the 10:30AM service, under our big beautiful oak tree. Sweets and lemonade are served as St. Thomas parishioners, young and old alike, enjoy each other's company and conversation in informal fellowship. (Michelle Hart)
Receptions are commonly hosted following major events in the parish: confirmations, Bishop visits, memorial services and more. Parishioners prepare food & set up the Parish Hall for these events. (Robin Glover)
Martha's Guild cares for our kitchen: keeping it clean, orderly & well-stocked. Serving so many parish and ELC activities, the kitchen is routinely inspected & passes Health Department inspections.
Dinner Club consists of parish families, young and old, who choose to get together for fellowship, fun, and great food. It's a wonderful way to visit with old friends, make new friends, and share a meal and a prayer together. (Corinna Strayer)
