Lenten Study Series, 2008

St. Thomas parishioners gathered each Tuesday evening during Lent for study and fellowship. Study was based on the book, Simpler Living Compassionate Life: A Christian Perspective, edited by Michael Schut and published in cooperation with Earth Ministry. Participants learned the connections between ecological degradation and social justice and between personal choices and global issues.  We learned to compare society's vision of the "good life" with the abundant life that Christ calls us to.
